Oshima Island / Togetsukyo Bridge
中世の頃は”奥州の高野”と称される死者供養の霊場だった雄島には、島のいたるところに石碑が乱立し、岩窟群の中には仏像や石塔などが安置されています。朱塗りの渡月橋はかつて僧たちが雄島に入る際に、陸地の俗世との縁を切ったことから「悪縁を断つ橋」（縁切り橋）とも呼ばれています。雄島から見る松島湾の島々の景色も格別です。
